last week, my stepdaughter wrote an online journal entry that said that she was planning on going to sleep on monday night and not waking up on tuesday morning. she said that she had a way planned to do this. so my husband called her mobile therapist and told him about the situation. he came and met with her, but didn't talk about the suicide issue. my husband was supposed to go out of town on monday night. after finding out about my stepdaughter, he said that he should probably stay home. my stepdaughter did pretty well over the weekend, and it seemed as if things were not as bad as she had written in her journal. my husband decided it was okay to go out of town.

basically, on monday night i was on suicide watch for my stepdaughter. the thing i'm wondering is, does anyone realize how close i am to my own end?
