"it's the holiday season..."

i can't believe it is december 23 already. this year has flown!

graduation was december 16. i'm a teacher now. woo hoooooooo! i already have two sub jobs for january, and i'm sure i will have more when school begins again. it is such a wonderful feeling. i'm glad i finally figured out that being a teacher is who i am. i just didn't know it my first time through college.

family stuff...pretty much the same. aa has been good. she's had a bad time at school, but at home she's been great! the two others are selfish and i would really prefer never to talk to them again. that's easy with the one because she lives with the evil ice bitch (her mother). the son lives here, but surprisingly it is still not that difficult to ignore him. i do feel badly for my husband because of his children. they are not nice people. my husband and i are getting along okay. nothing great to report, but nothing terribly bad either.

i had allergy testing done. i should be living in a bubble. :) i'm allergic to grasses, molds, cats, dogs, etc. almost everything. i have no food allergies. and i'm not allergic to yeast. obviously, it's in beer!!!

i'm not very excited for this holiday. i will get to see my mom. i'm looking forward to spending a couple of days with her. i'm not sure if it's because of the weather or depression or being busy with school. it just doesn't feel like Christmas. i'm sure everything will be fine, but i just don't have the Christmas spirit.
