well... first visit with a counselor today. it went very well. she is very wonderful and exactly the right person for me to see. we dealt with a lot in our time. we actually talked for 2 1/2 hours. her normal fee is $70 per hour. she charged me only $100. and she also told me that i could call her anytime i need her. i love this woman! she gave me very practical coping mechanisms and i used them today. hooray for me! i really don't want to bitch all the time, and now i have ways of dealing with things. it's great! i feel like i am finally on the right track.

we are leaving for poland on monday. i can't wait! i'm not sure what kind of work we will be doing, but whatever it is will be great! and on our way to poland, we get to spend a day in dublin! hooray! i don't know what we will be doing, but i love ireland. i hope i get to see my friends. i miss them. when i close my eyes, i can see their house as if i was sitting in their dining room.

things that i am happy about tonight: my new scion xb. the book i am reading (shake hands with the devil). new cds. friends in africa. my glasses. a day with no anger. the movie "shopgirl". my kitty with squinty eyes. amor amor for $7.

i am finally on the road to having control of my feelings. it will be an interesting journey.
